I love these dolls.

This one actually doesn't have smaller dolls in it, it has ornaments you can hang on a tree or whatever. It's supposed to be people/things from the Nutcracker

Blegh. Apologies for not keeping this up. NaNoWriMo takes the chunk of your life away that is used, normally, for blogging. Well, in my life anyways.

Photo Walk and Wk5

So yeah... I went on a photo walk last Saturday and I managed to get my photos for class during that time (which was awesome). I've been really wanting to photograph this part of town for a long while. I would have loved to stay until it got a little darker, but oh well. A lot of people from class were asking where this was and I am now pleased to tell you all that these photos were taken in Istanbul, on Istiklal street.

okay I don't know if you want to call this one cool or not.. but I like it so.. there.

Repetition and Thirds. Wk4

This week we were again doing Repetition and Thirds.

First picture is Repetition, and second one is Thirds. ; )

*ahem* So these pictures I didn't turn in, but I thought they were cool. This is my 4th and 2nd sisters.

Rule of Thirds and Depth

*bounces* So my dad took most of girls out on Sunday and I took my camera. I took a ton of photos, annnd then had to pick TWO >_< 

=P

Anyways... this top one is my Depth. I kinda took the depth concept literally. It was SO. Much. fun to take. I'm not really clear about the rules on taking pictures inside malls here, but I've been told to stop before, so I was kinda hiding from the security guards as I was snapping. =PP 

This second one is my Thirds. One of the girls in my class mentioned that this picture had a story behind it... and it does. My teacher said that this photo would have been stronger had we been able to see her face, and connect with her eyes. However, I saw her face. It was so blank, like there was nothing  in her mind or heart. I have no idea who she is or what she was doing, but I do know something was very very wrong. In a way, I both hate and love this picture. It makes you face the fact that not everything is fine and dandy, but I love it for showing me that.

Hopefully...

Music and Inspiration

This week we were supposed to take a picture of music and something that inspired us. Yes, I know they both are sort of music-y, but hey, I love music (and colors and people), so I put music under the "inspiration" category as well. 

Anyways, the first was my music picture, the second, my inspiration.
